Registered Nurse – L&D (Labor and Delivery), Lowville, New York. 13‑week travel assignment starting 09/14/2026 with guaranteed hours. Night shift (3x12) – 36 hours per week and every‑other‑weekend duties. Hospital‑based maternity care environment. Assignment is a travel temporary position through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,192 to $2,267 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12‑hour shifts Start date: 09/14/2026 Work setting: hospital‑based maternity care Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to obstetric patients during night shifts, including routine assessments, fetal monitoring, vital signs, medication administration, and pain management. Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care according to unit protocols and patient needs. Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize complications, initiate timely escalation, and coordinate with the obstetric team and anesthesia as required. Document care in the electronic health record accurately and on time; ensure patient privacy and data integrity. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, nursing aides, and support staff to manage admissions, transfers, and discharge planning; participate in patient and family education. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment; respond to emergencies using established codes and procedures. Requirements Current, active RN license in New York. Obstetric/L&D experience preferred; strong clinical skills in maternity care are valued. Ability to work night shifts (12‑hour) and participate in a 13‑week travel assignment with every‑other‑weekend responsibilities. Willingness to travel to Lowville, NY for the duration of the assignment. Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to function in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity setting.
