Medicare Billing Specialist

Adecco is hiring! We are looking for experienced Medicare Billing & Follow-Up Specialist to join our team supporting a major healthcare organization. Located at the beautiful corporate campus in Roseville, CA Role Overview Pay Rate: $35.00/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day Shift) Duration: 13-week contract Location: Must be local to Roseville/Sacramento, CA)- Only local candidates need apply Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of Medical Billing Follow-Up experience specifically with Medicare or Managed Medicare . Experience must be within the last 12 months. Technical Skills: Proficiency with EPIC is required. Knowledge: Strong understanding of payer portals , basic denial management , and professional claim processing. Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Technical degree preferred. What You’ll Do In this role, you will communicate with patients, government agencies, and third-party payers to ensure appropriate reimbursement. You will: Review, correct, and submit professional claims to payers. Perform diligent follow-up on unpaid accounts and denied claims. Collaborate with internal departments for charge info, coding updates, and claim appeals .
