This role focuses on providing exceptional care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a dynamic labor and delivery environment. Key Responsibilities of the OB Registered Nurse

• Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Commit to patient and family centered care
• Be oriented and trained to various competencies across the OB service
• Float among units to meet variable needs of volume and acuity

Requirements of the OB Registered Nurse

• RN License (NY ONLY)
• Two (2) years' experience in labor and delivery
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Required
