Together, we offer you and your family access to more than 2,100 providers, representing 70 specialties, working in 360 medical practices and more than 55 urgent care locations across New York, New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut.Specialty: OtolaryngologySchedule: 37.5 hours per weekWork schedule: 3 days in Lake Success, 1 day in Smithtown, 1 day in Bethpage and up to 2 Saturdays/monthLocations: Lake Success, Smithtown, and Bethpage, NYPrimary Responsibilities:Provides nursing care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practicesCoordinates with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and careAssists physician or other provider with clinical procedures and participates in patient teachingProvides Direction To: Clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnelObtain and complete prior authorizations for medications and testsMaintain inventory logs for refrigerator, room temperature, oxygen, and vaccinesAdminister medication and educate patients/guardians on medication usageYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing programNew York State (NYS) license with current NYS registration, in good standingPreferred Qualifications:Current CPR/BLS certification1+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or 2+ years of experience as a medical assistantEPIC EMR experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
