Role Summary The Retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role that blends customer service, sales, and basic vehicle service tasks. Acting as a key pipeline to future career‑growth opportunities within Firestone Complete Auto Care, the SST engages customers, recommends products and services, and performs entry‑level vehicle maintenance while learning all aspects of store operations. Responsibilities Customer service, sales, and issue resolution – 75% of time. Basic vehicle service tasks (oil changes, tire services, fluid checks) – 25% of time. Store operations: opening/closing, inventory management, display upkeep – as needed. Support managerial duties when requested and contribute to continuous improvement of store processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid automobile driver's license. Strong customer service orientation and a growth mindset. Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks. Capability to learn and operate store systems. Preferred Qualifications Two‑year degree or equivalent non‑traditional education through training, certification, or other evidence of a growth mindset. Previous consumer retail sales experience.
