Branch Manager

Privately owned, successful flooring company is looking to hire a Branch Manager will oversee all aspects of our flooring showroom, with a strong emphasis on team management, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. This role requires a strategic operator, capable of managing a double-digit revenue branch while ensuring a positive environment for our sales team of 3-4 individuals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business operations and financial management, enabling them to make informed decisions that enhance profitability and efficiency.

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and branch sales targets.
- Foster a positive and collaborative culture within the showroom, emphasizing teamwork and customer service excellence.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily operations, including managing expenses related to dumpster fees, credit card processing, personnel, inventory, claims, and bad debt.
- Review financial performance regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
- Collaborate with senior management to set long-term goals and strategic plans for the branch.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and facilitating professional development opportunities for team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar role within the flooring industry or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in managing a revenue-generating branch with a focus on revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Strong financial acumen with a thorough understanding of expense management and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships with team members and customers.
- Experience managing a sales team of 3-4 individuals, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
