Business Development Manager - Commercial Restoration

Location: Raleigh, NC

We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager / Business Development professional to grow and manage commercial relationships throughout the Raleigh market.

This is a B2B, relationship-driven sales role focused on developing new business and building long-term partnerships with commercial decision-makers. The ideal candidate has experience selling services—not products —and is comfortable building relationships with Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, Property Managers, Operations Leaders, and other C-suite or senior-level decision-makers.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new commercial business through networking, prospecting, referrals, industry relationships, and face-to-face meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial property and facility decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities within existing and prospective accounts and turn relationships into revenue.
• Meet with Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, Property Managers, Operations Directors, and other senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a strong commercial pipeline and consistently pursue new opportunities.
• Attend networking events, industry associations, property meetings, and other business development opportunities.
• Partner with operations and project teams to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and successful project execution.
• Act as a trusted resource for clients and identify opportunities to provide additional services.
• Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through relationship development, proposal, and close.
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account information in CRM.
• Represent the company professionally within the local business community.

The strongest candidates will have B2B sales or business development experience selling commercial services , particularly within industries such as:

• Commercial restoration / disaster recovery
• Commercial real estate
• Property management
• Facilities services
• Hospitality / hotels
• Environmental services
• Construction-related services
• Building services / maintenance
• Healthcare or education facilities

Experience selling directly to Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, Property Managers, Operations leaders, or C-suite decision-makers is highly valued.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record of generating new business , not simply managing inbound accounts.
• Strong B2B sales and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable prospecting and creating opportunities from scratch.
• Excellent networking skills and an established local business network.
• Experience selling a service or solution with a consultative sales approach.
• Confident communicating with executives and operational decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of commercial properties and/or facilities is a plus.
• Self-motivated, competitive, organized, and persistent.
• Ability to develop relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Restoration industry experience is strongly preferred, but we will also consider strong business development professionals coming from commercial real estate, property management, hospitality, facilities, environmental services, construction services, healthcare, or education.

This is not a SaaS or IT sales role . We are specifically looking for someone who understands relationship-based commercial sales and knows how to develop business by getting in front of decision-makers.
