Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur./liliMaintain proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned tasks./liliTo support the company to meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of IAC./liliComplete LPAs on time; weekly/liliComplete Safe Audit on time; weekly/liliMaintain proper etiquette when using company radios, PA, emails, text and phones; business use only./liliPerform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/li/ulpstrongSpecific Job Duties:/strong/pulliSupervise bargaining unit employees to insure safe, efficient manufacture of quality products to meet our customer requirements./liliDrive continuous improvement efforts in scrap reduction, safety, and process improvements./liliProvide clear expectations and hold team members accountable while providing continual feedback./liliProvide associates with inspiration, direction coaching to achieve work objectives./liliDevelop team members to become self-sufficient with regard to completing their work responsibilities effectively./liliPromote, maintain and develop lean manufacturing practices./liliMonitor and address output productivity issues within assigned departments inclusive of meeting production targets, cycle time and product process quality standards./liliIssue disciplinary actions as necessary per HR/liliManage employee training program as directed by HR/liliComplete Fast Track Response packets as necessary/liliComplete company audits per company programs/liliHold line-side team meetings to present line and company information/liliAdvise employees regarding alerts and have sign-offs completed/liliConduct incident, accident and non-conformity investigations/liliEnsure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department are monitored and targets achieved/li/ulpstrongEducation Requirements:/strong/pulliAssociate degree with 2-4 years of related experience managing teams of people in a manufacturing environment or 4-6 years related experience./li/ulpstrongExperience Requirements:/strong/pulliGood computer skills including typing and the use of Microsoft Excel and Word/liliWorking knowledge of operation procedures/liliAbility to pay attention to detail, multi-task and follow direction/liliIdeal candidate will possess at least two years supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive./liliSuccessful candidates will also possess strong judgment /decision making skills, problem solving and communication skills./liliStrong analytic problem-solving skills/liliAble to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines/liliMust be able to work with minimal direction and supervision/li/ulpstrongTraining Requirements:/strong/pulliThis position will be required to travel to other facilities or training locations as well as on-site training as needed./lipstrongPPE Requirements:/strong/pulliThis position requires the use of eye protection and hearing protection and any PPE specific to the task being performed./lipstrongPhysical Demands:/strong/pulliMust be able to stand on feet and/or sit 8-12 hours a day and lift up to 40lbs on an occasional basis and 15 lbs on a regular basis.
