The Division of Pulmonary, Asthma and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting a Clinician Educator who will serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Responsibilities Provide in‑patient and out‑patient clinical care at John Muir Medical Center and community hospitals and clinics across the greater East and North Bay Area. Participate in didactics of medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to research, quality improvement, and program development. Engage in research activities across the full range of Stanford University, as encouraged. Qualifications MD or DO degree and Board Certification in Pediatrics. Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. California Medical License by hire date. Additional Board Certification in Sleep Medicine is a plus. Outstanding clinicians with dedication to teaching and mentoring trainees. Preference for candidates who specialize in cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, or sleep medicine.
