As a Security Officer - Full Time in Wausau, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In a role built on teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture, you will bring a reliable, agile approach to each shift.

Pay Rate: $17.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support the screening of visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures for a manufacturing and distribution environment.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged doors or gates, lighting concerns, and/or other conditions that could affect site operations or security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
