International Team Assistant (Student)

Bob Jones University

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the International Team with a variety of international student engagement and retention tasks and initiatives.
*This role may qualify as partial fulfilment of the requirements for a capstone, internship, or EXP in a variety of academic disciplines; but academic credit is not a requirement for this student work.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and implement a communication plan to international students for some immigration requirements.
Strategically achieve a 100% tax return filing rate by the national tax filing deadline.
Strategize and implement proven methods to increase student participation.
Lead sessions that build community.
Answer questions by email in a professional and timely manner.
Serve a variety of student needs.
Energize the campus parent program.
Exercise discretion in offering help within legal parameters.
Other functions as assigned
