Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care to adults and geriatrics in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Manage complex cases including ECMO, ventilators, and cardiac drips with precision
• Monitor and respond to life-saving needs like arterial lines, IABPs, and stroke protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Perform EKGs, sheath removals, and advanced procedures that make a real difference
• Float within scope to support facility needs while upholding top safety standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license with 2+ years of ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must pass EKG exam - no exceptions
• Epic charting proficiency
• Comfortable with 1:2-3 patient ratios in a Level III Trauma Center

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ventilator management, central line care, and blood product administration
• Skilled in cardiovascular interventions like Impella, TAVR, and LVAD/RVAD
• Proficient in neurological care including ICP monitoring and post-craniotomy management
• Strong in titrating vasoactive drips, dysrhythmia interpretation, and multisystem organ failure
• Experienced with IV therapy, chemotherapy administration, and chest tube assistance
