Advanced Certified Nursing Assistant I - Women & Children, Per Diem Variable

Join a compassionate healthcare team providing essential patient care in a dynamic women and children's unit located in the Southeastern United States region. This part-time, variable shift role involves assisting with basic patient care, observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment.

• Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, providing direct assistance or escalating as appropriate.
• Support nursing care plans by performing delegated tasks.
• Ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Manage medication and supply retrieval for patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in educational and performance improvement initiatives.
• Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification mandatory.
• Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English proficiently.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules and tasks.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.

• Ability to work variable shifts including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Capability to turn and lift patients safely.
• Visual and auditory acuity necessary for patient observation.
• Exposure to blood and body fluids with adherence to safety protocols.
