CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant, Med-Surg Per Diem Days

Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant providing essential patient care in a medical-surgical setting. This per diem day shift role involves assisting patients with daily activities, observing and reporting any changes in their condition, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient unit.

Education

Must hold current certification as a Nursing Assistant and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience

Previous experience in a medical-surgical environment is preferred but not required. Ability to adapt to variable shifts and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Physical ability to turn and lift patients, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Visual and auditory acuity to monitor patient conditions.
Willingness to follow infection control protocols, including exposure precautions.
