Travel NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend | Projected Start Date: February 4, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care in a NICU setting, including management of neonatal and adult patients
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilation equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 ventilators
• Perform and assist with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and intubation assistance
• Accurately document patient care and clinical data using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality respiratory care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience required (minimum skill level of 3 in NICU competencies)
• Proficiency with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred; may be obtained after hire
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred; may be obtained after hire
• Prior travel therapy experience in a hospital-based respiratory department
