Responsibilities

• Field Leadership & Crew Supervision: Lead, coach, and schedule daily work assignments for electrical foremen, journeymen, and apprentices. Maintain high crew productivity and safety morale.

• Site Operations & Scheduling: Manage 3-week lookahead schedules, track job-site labor hours, and coordinate material deliveries/takeoffs to prevent field downtime.

• Blueprint & Schematics Review: Read and interpret single-line electrical diagrams, low-voltage layouts, and mechanical/architectural plans to catch trade clashes early.

• Safety & Code Compliance: Enforce strict job-site safety protocols, conduct daily JHA/toolbox talks, oversee Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance, and maintain zero-incident safety standards.

• Project Administration: Utilize digital construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) to log daily site reports, submit RFIs, mark up plan revisions, and track site progress photos.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary on-site electrical liaison for General Contractors, site engineers, utility personnel, and municipal code inspectors.
