CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Location: Avon, OH Are you ready to take the next step in your CNC career? Nesco Resource is partnering with a growing company in the Avon area that is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team on 1st shift. If you have experience with CNC mills, lathes, or waterjets and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, and waterjets Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Produce quality parts according to specifications and process control plans Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and verify work before inspection Troubleshoot minor machine and production issues Monitor machining operations and communicate concerns with Operations and Engineering teams Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records Track and report scrap and production irregularities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize PPE Qualifications 23 years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience Experience with manufacturing troubleshooting and machine operations Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and accuracy with measurements Basic computer proficiency High School Diploma or GED required Shift: 1st shift (Monday-Thursday 5:30 am to 4 pm) Salary: $17 to $21 an hour based on experience BENEFITS (once hired into the company) 401(k) matching Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Accident and Life insurance Paid time off 10 paid holidays Referral program Bonus program Profit Sharing Savings & Investment Plan Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
