Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSelect proper glass batch on Optimizer Table computerConsistently hold cycle timeAssist in movement of carts in and out of production work area Communicate quality issues or mechanical issues observedComplete quality checksConstantly observe quality of IG unitsBreak scored glass and place into corresponding slots on glass cartDrop needed glass sheets on table without autopickersQualificationsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for duration of entire shiftAbility to move large sheets of glass.Ability to measure with 1/32”Ability to use computerized equipmentAbility to read and write to complete quality checklists, verify paperwork, read machine settings and cart locationsAbility to work in tandem with another operatorAbility to locate minor quality defects in glassMust cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
