Accountant Job in Willoughby, OH: Direct Hire Salary Range: $65-80,000 We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in a hands‑on, full‑cycle accounting role within a manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the business including accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash reconciliations, inventory control, and month‑end close. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable working independently, and has prior experience in a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities of the Accountant Job in Willoughby, OH: Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable Post customer payments and monitor AR aging, following up on past due accounts for collection Post vendor invoices, monitor vendor accounts, and process weekly bill pay every Thursday Process credit card payments Perform monthly bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and make necessary adjustments Support month-end close process Generate daily ERP reports for internal customers and provide monthly financial reporting to management Manage inventory control including raw materials and finished goods cycle counting Process RGAs and provide supporting documentation for auditors Qualifications of the Accountant Job in Willoughby, OH: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Experience with ERP systems required — Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience is a strong plus Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable presenting financial information and recommendations to management Benefits Offering: Company pays 100% of Medical insurance premiums for the employee on two available plans, plus full coverage for Vision, Dental, Life, and Disability insurance Additional dependent coverage available with partial employee contribution Weekly pay with no holding period and direct deposit 401K plan Paid Time Off #J-18808-Ljbffr
