Job Summary:
The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the property. This role supports the community by maintaining a safe, clean, and functional living environment for residents while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments and common areas
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-readies/turns)
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Maintain grounds and ensure curb appeal standards are met
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including after-hours if required
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate effectively with residents and office staff

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• EPA certification (no required but a bonus)
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Must be reliable and able to respond to on-call emergencies

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Frequently standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs/ladders
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time availability
• On-call rotation may be required
• Competitive pay based on experience
