Oakland, California 9 months End client: The Permanente Medical Group Inc Pay Rate: $40/hr on w2 all inclusive

Quality Assurance Automation Engineer 2 to 5 years of experience (Entry to Mid Level) Looking for a talented Automation Engineer to join the collaborative Content Management Technical Team at a foremost healthcare provider in downtown Oakland, California. This is a long-term consulting opportunity.

To be eligible, candidates must currently reside in California as an onsite orientation is required. Once onsite operations resume, two days a week of remote work will be offered.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Analyze product and technical user stories and create and execute relevant testable scenarios.
• Prepare Test Strategy documentation.
• Develop, maintain and execute test automation using Selenium.
• Participate in release planning, sprint planning, and technical design reviews; provide input as appropriate.
• Partner with engineers, business owners and other team members as appropriate.
• Find and appropriately document defects and validate fixes.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of project.
• Provide status updates to peers and escalate issues appropriately.

Required:

• Two to five years of experience working with enterprise Agile methodologies.
• Experience testing large, complex content-based web applications.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium.
• Experience with Accessibility testing will be a plus.
• Experience with extensive knowledge of formal testing methodologies, test automation techniques, performance testing and defect reporting process.
• Experience testing various Platforms (Web browsers/Mobile).
• Experience in preparing test plans, test cases and test strategy documentation.
• Able to implement technical solutions which meets all functional/nonfunctional requirements.
• Ability to test the designs and configuration changes provided.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
