Job Full Description We are looking for a Receiving Clerk to work at a New Orleans freight forwarding company.

Responsibilities:
- Compare packing lists to received goods and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Check-in merchandise and affix labels.
- Maintains the inventory of packing materials and supplies.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Proper use of Inventory management software.
- Track equipment inventory from warehouse to job sites.
- Ensure equipment is serviced and functional; order material for repairs as needed.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. Print pick lists and track when all materials for each order have been received.
- Follow all safety codes.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor/manager.
- Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse.
- Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- 2+ years of experience as a Clerk preferred
- Forklift experience a plus but not required
- High school diploma/GED required
