Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift travel assignment requiring Level 3 NICU skills and acute care experience across ICU, Med Surg, and ER.

Details

• Respiratory Care unit within a 160-bed hospital staffed by 32 respiratory therapists
• Patient population spans ICU, Med Surg, ER, and Level 3 NICU
• Uses RVU system for patient ratios
• Equipment includes PB and Drager V500 ventilators, Aerogen nebulizers, V60 Bipap, HHFNC, Hamilton C-transport, Oscillator, Jet ventilator, Nitric oxide therapy, and Bubble CPAP
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Night shift, 6:00pm-6:30am, 3x12 schedule totaling 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Level 3 NICU experience required
• Acute care experience in Med Surg, ER, and ICU required
• Experience managing Bipaps, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units
• Experience assisting with intubations and bedside bronchoscopies
• Proficient EMR charting skills required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• License required if applicable
