About the Position

Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Night shift coverage is on-call only
• Unit consists of 2 beds with a team of 9 staff members
• Day shift team includes 2 First Assistants, 2 RNs, 2 CSTs, and PRN staff as needed
• Must have experience with CABG (on and off pump), Valves, and Ablations
• Must be proficient in assistance with placement of lines
• Preferred skills include setup of Level 1 rapid infuser and setup of cell saver
• Typical procedures include CABG, VATS, ION, Valves, Ablations, and backup for TAVR
• Work with standard CVOR equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Scrub color for Surgical Staff is Ciel Blue
• Parking available in the parking garage located at 2102 61st St. W, Bradenton, FL
