Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary:


We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care and case management to patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and administer medications.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
• Support hospice care for patients with serious illness.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in specialized areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
• Advanced certifications related to nursing specialties.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Strong collaboration required with patients, providers, and team members.

Scheduling:

• Shifts may vary and can be scheduled any day of the week.
• Shift times include 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, and 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.
