You will provide expertise and guidance to teams implementing new technology, establishing project governance, creating processes, and improving capital project returns. You will be based in one of our North America offices as part of McKinsey’s Capital Excellence service line. McKinsey's Capital Excellence service line assists our clients in solving the world's toughest problems. Blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality, our consultants and experts work to develop and implement operational strategies that solve our clients' most critical problems on a global scale. Capital Excellence is a rapidly growing service line with deep functional expertise in capital allocation and portfolio optimization, business case, concept/design optimization, procurement and contracting, construction, commissioning and ramp-up, and capital organizational capabilities. We provide a unique set of tools and techniques to help clients identify opportunities that represent a robust set of value propositions across the entire capital value chain.Your backgroundUndergraduate degree in engineering; advanced degree or MBA is preferred15+ years of post-graduate work experience with a distinctive record of achievement and impactSignificant construction experience with an EPCExperience working on large-sized projects Willingness to travel up to 80%
