Facility Technician II

The Facility Technician performs a variety of hands-on operations including drum pumping/dumping, offloading tankers, unloading vans, as well as general forklift duties within the facility's industrial warehouse. This is a physically demanding job requiring industrial labor under potentially adverse/challenging conditions (i.e. extreme cold). We offer a shuttle service to assist employees commuting from the surrounding area (Tooele/Grantsville/West Valley) to our facility's location off of Exit 56 on I-80. Perform hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations and offloading vans. Perform drum storage, repacks, and use of drum scanner. Operate a forklift when needed. Complete required paperwork for waste tracking. Wearing of proper personal protective equipment for extended periods of time, including full-face respirator and hazmat/tyvek suit. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated stability in previous employment. Ability to work a rotating shift as needed. Ability to work in adverse conditions. Forklift experience preferred. Join our team today!
