Security Officer Diploma Required Patrol – Los Angeles, CA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Must have clean background Must have 1 year of security experience within the last 3 years with an active guard card Must have a high school diploma, or GED or Official transcripts Job Schedule: Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying by post. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or unusual activity. Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required for this DPSS/DHS assignment. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required for this DPSS/DHS assignment. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
