MRI Technologist/Technician

Job Summary Contract MRI Technologist available for a 13-week assignment in Pomona, NJ. Start date 03/25/2024. 3 days, 12-hour shifts from 09:30 to 19:30 (no on-call). Pay $67 per hour with stipend for travelers over 50 miles. Responsibilities The MRI Technologist performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging scans on patients of all ages under direct supervision of a radiologist. Floats between Mainland and City campuses. Utilizes Phillips diagnostic equipment and an OEC C-arm. Charts in Cerner system and wears Caribbean blue scrubs. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of MRI experience Licensed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Advanced ARRT certification within one year of hiring Experience in operating room (OR) and emergency department (ED) Travel required; first‑time traveler accepted; travel stipend for distances over 50 miles Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Referral program Tuition reimbursement 401k Plan Flexible schedules Life insurance Disability insurance Identity theft insurance COVID‑19 Vaccine Policy COVID‑19 vaccine not required.
