AP Staff Accountant

AP Staff AccountantGrowing, venture-backed technology company is seeking an AP Staff Accountant to support Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and month-end close.ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle Accounts Payable and vendor relationships.Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.Support month-end close, journal entries, and GL accounting.Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.Support GAAP reporting, SOPs, and process improvements.Help bring additional accounting functions in-house and leverage automation/AI tools.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.AP and GL accounting experience.Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close.Bank and credit card reconciliation experience.Strong Excel and analytical skills.QuickBooks Enterprise experience preferred.Comfortable with technology, automation, and learning new systems.Self-starter with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term growth.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
