Position: Sit Down Assembler (Seated Work Environment)

Location: Mentor

Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with an ½ unpaid lunch.

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position primarily involves seated assembly work, building and inspecting small mechanical components in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities
• Assemble small components and subassemblies using hand tools and work instructions
• Read and follow assembly drawings, work orders, and production documentation
• Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
• Package completed products for shipment or the next stage of production
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Report quality concerns or production issues to supervision Qualifications
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work with small parts and maintain attention to detail
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow written instructions and quality procedures
• Basic computer skills are a plus
• Strong attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements
• Primarily seated position throughout the shift
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for fine motor assembly work
• Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds
• Ability to visually inspect small parts and components

Schedule
• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Overtime available based on production needs
