Universal Logistics is a leading provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services, including transportation, value‑added, intermodal, and specialized services used throughout entire supply chains. We are looking for local CDL‑A drivers for intermodal/port work in Compton, CA. Position Details Local intermodal/port work – home daily Monday – Friday schedule Day shift (start: 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM) Night shift (start: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM) 10–12 hour shifts Drop & hook / no‑touch freight Consistent, year‑round work Pay & Benefits Earn up to $300 per day (paid per load) Guaranteed $1,250 per week for the first 4 weeks 401(k) Medical, dental & vision insurance Paid time off & sick pay Responsibilities Operate a tractor‑trailer's local intermodal/port routes Perform drop & hook and no‑touch freight operations Maintain accurate and timely logs of all trips and freight Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures Qualifications Class A CDL Minimum 6 months of tractor‑trailer experience Must obtain TWIC & Hazmat within 60 days (company reimburses) Clean driving record People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
