Project Administrator

Overview Trane Technologies, a world leader in sustainable climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation, is seeking a Service Project Administrator in Moon Township, PA. The role is responsible for routine service job documentation, materials, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of each service job. Work Schedule Monday to Thursday onsite with colleagues. Fridays are flexible; you may work remotely or onsite based on job requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate with cross‑functional team members to ensure accurate and timely recording of project costs, including materials, timesheets, labor hour allocation, and daily reports. Initiate invoicing for completed work and prepare payroll documentation while managing technician applied and unapplied time. Generate, interpret, and print various assigned reports. Monitor account receivables, review, investigate, and help resolve billing disputes in coordination with internal teams and customers. Communicate effectively with team members and cross‑train for coverage of the Service Project Administrator role. Schedule and participate in internal project team meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information. Validate cost to date and reconcile project data in the business system. Manage invoicing process and coordinate format, layout, attachments, and mailing with Shared Financial Services. Review billing backlog and coordinate with Service Managers, HVAC Field Technicians, customers, and Trane claims as necessary to resolve obstacles. Qualifications High School diploma or GED with up to two (2) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach with willingness to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high‑paced environment to meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with HVAC systems is preferred but not required. Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required. Compensation Annual base salary range: $54,751.66 - $76,929.99 . Compensation is based on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
