Job Description:
Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Line Cleaners to maintain a clean and sanitary environment along our production and packaging lines. This role supports efficient manufacturing operations by keeping the equipment and work areas clean and compliant with company and safety standards.Primary Responsibilities:Perform scheduled cleaning of production lines, including conveyors, rollers, packing tables, and surrounding areasRemove product residue, dust, grease, and other contaminants from line equipmentSanitize surfaces to meet operational and safety standardsClear debris and trash from workstations and ensure proper waste disposalEnsure lines are cleaned during and after production shifts without disrupting operationsUse cleaning tools and chemicals safely and as instructedDocument cleaning tasks as required by quality or safety compliance systemsReport any equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediatelyRequirements:Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing cleaning preferredMust be able to stand, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shiftComfortable working in a warm, high-noise environmentAble to lift up to 50 lbsKnowledge of basic cleaning practices and safety proceduresMust be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions preciselyAbility to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentWork Conditions:Manufacturing/production environment with operational machineryUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all timesMay involve working around chemicals, dust, and continuous machine noise
