Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as an Occupational Therapist during a 5-week maternity coverage. Based conveniently near Hastings, FL, this full-time position offers the chance to make a significant impact in a school setting from August 4, 2026, through September 4, 2026. Collaborate with dedicated educators and staff to develop students’ functional skills and help them achieve their academic goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid OT license in the state of Florida
• Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary and middle school students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive, team-oriented mindset
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and productive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students to support their educational goals
• Assess and document students’ functional abilities and progress
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and objectives
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to promote student independence
• Adapt activities and modify environments to facilitate student participation
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with relevant stakeholders
• Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning as needed
