Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic located in Houston, TX. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various types of heavy equipment in our fleet. Daily tasks include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring machinery meets safety and operational standards. Maintaining accurate service records and collaborating with the team to ensure minimal downtime are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of Heavy Equipment or Diesel Repair Experience
• Strong proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
• Relevant certifications in heavy equipment maintenance and repair are preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work both in the shop and in the field
• Strong commitment to workplace safety practices
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring strength and endurance
• Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable

Bonus Qualifications

• CAT, Deere, or Komatsu experience
• Previous field mechanic experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• CDL (preferred but not required)
