Litigation Legal Assistant

Salary: $200,000 - $220,000 per year A bit about us: We're a national employment law firm with over 25 offices and more than 450 attorneys. Our attorneys practice before state and federal courts and administrative agencies across the US and we are looking for an experienced Litigation Associate with 3-6 years experience to join our team. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Employment Litigation Associate to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of employment litigation cases. The successful candidate will have a solid background in civil litigation, with a focus on employment law. They will also have extensive experience in case handling, drafting and responding to discovery, defending depositions, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations. Responsibilities: As an Employment Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of complex employment litigation matters from inception through trial. Representing clients in all stages of employment litigation, including pre-litigation, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals. Drafting and responding to discovery requests. Drafting and arguing motions. Providing advice and counsel to clients regarding state and federal employment laws. Keeping up to date with developments in employment law and advising clients accordingly. Collaborating with other attorneys in the firm to ensure the best representation for our clients. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on employment law. Proven experience as a case handling attorney in federal court. Extensive experience in drafting and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, defending depositions, and managing discovery.
