Front Office Staff

We are located just 1 mile from the entrance to Glacier National Park in West Glacier, Montana, and we hire office and retail staff, kitchen staff, housekeeping, drivers, rafting and fishing guides, and maintenance personnel each season. Our season runs from May 1 through October 15, with the busiest months in July and August. Job Opportunities Front Office Staff Front office staff is the first contact for many guests interested in visiting Glacier National Park and Great Northern’s services. The role requires initiative, customer friendliness, and a passion for the park. Responsibilities: Enter, change, and close reservations. Print management and trip reports. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Help keep the office and retail area clean. Assist in the photo department with cataloging, mailing, and photo counter. Organize and maintain retail items. Help customers with purchases and check‑in for float trips. Check inventory and restock the retail area. Bus/Shuttle Driver Drivers must be at least 25 years old and hold a Commercial class (A) or (B) driver’s license with Airbrake and passenger endorsement. All drivers are drug tested and must meet insurance qualifications. Responsibilities: Transport guests to and from the river safely. Maintain and clean all Great Northern vehicles—including buses, vans, trucks, and lawn equipment. Check daily fluid levels on engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and rear ends. Fuel vehicles at day’s end to maintain at least half‑full. River Guide (Whitewater & Fishing) Guides must be in above‑average physical condition, skilled on mountain rivers, and hold current certifications in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, and either Rescue 3 International or ACA certification in Swiftwater Rescue. Responsibilities: Participate in daily meetings, safety talks, group evaluations, and render rescue and interpretive classes. Rig and load boats, pack food and gear, de‑rig and wash equipment. Set up campsites, prepare meals, and clean up after trips. Drive clients in vans, buses, and commercial vehicles with raft trailers as needed. Assist with all remaining duties and provide exceptional guest and teammate service. Maintenance/Grounds Maintenance staff works a wide range of duties to keep the resort grounds and facilities in top condition. Energy and versatility are required. Typical duties include: Cutting grass and planting flowers on resort grounds. Painting railings on cabins. Performing plumbing repairs. General upkeep of the lodge and surrounding areas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
