This position requires demonstrated leadership, excellent communication skills, and a command of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering foundational knowledge. We are looking for a uniquely talented engineering leader to champion our key transformation shifts and identify new ways to improve project task execution for the F135 Program. Specific responsibilities will be leading Project Tasks for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of a cross functional group of project, design, structures, and aerodynamic team members. The Senior Engineer will need to communicate the status of technical issues, and budgets to Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) leaders, HSE leadership, internal program offices and external customers. They may also need to work closely with purchasing, suppliers, customer support and the sustainment organizations to support engine deliveries and respond to field challenges as needed.
