Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive holistic and personalized care throughout their recovery process. You will enjoy a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, allowing for a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs and develop a tailored treatment plan.
• Implement and document evidence-based therapeutic interventions, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
• Engage with patients across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, ensuring that you meet diverse rehabilitation needs.
• Provide home-based therapeutic care, utilizing techniques and procedures that align with the physician's plan of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals and techniques, fostering an understanding of their role in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and achieve exceptional clinical outcomes, leveraging shared knowledge and resources.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and actively contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working directly with a diverse patient population ranging from young pediatric patients to older adults recovering from surgeries or managing chronic conditions. You will be instrumental in helping each individual regain independence and improve their quality of life through skilled therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for candidates holding a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer and administrative skills to accurately document patient information and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating your ability to connect and work effectively with patients.
• Proven ability to establish strong relationships with patients, facilitating an environment where they can exceed their functional goals.
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary team setting, ideally in a rehabilitation or clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a range of competitive benefits, including:
