Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, ensuring all programs are evidence-based and tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to treat patients across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication with patients and their families to enhance their healthcare experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through coordinated care and shared best practices.
• Deliver skilled physical therapy services in the clinic setting, actively engaging patients in their recovery processes to promote functional improvement.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, preventing re-injury and enhancing understanding of physical therapy benefits.
• Meet established productivity benchmarks and contribute positively to the clinic's overall performance metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, athletes seeking rehabilitation from sports-related injuries, children with developmental delays, and adults with chronic diseases. Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with current state licensure in Florida.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in computer-related tasks and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant physical therapy experience is required, particularly in rehabilitation or outpatient settings.
• Candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program are highly regarded.

• Current CPR certification is required to ensure safety and preparedness in the clinic.
