Residency Requirement: This posting is only open to residents of the State of Colorado at the time of submitting your application. Class Code: G3A3XX Experience Only: Two (2) years of general clerical/office support experience as the primary function of the job. OR Education and Experience: A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in general clerical/office support as the primary function of the job equal to two (2) years. If qualifying under the substitution, you will be required to provide a copy of your transcripts at the time of application. Note: Candidates possessing a foreign degree must submit a translation (evaluation) of their degree from an accredited institution, such as The National Association of Credential Evaluations Services in order to be given credit for the degree. Preferred Qualifications High technical aptitude Experience working with technology and various systems Experience organizing documents and electronic file systems Experience working in a similar role for the State of Colorado Experience working in a hybrid environment Strong critical thinking skills Experience working under various priorities and ability to adapt Experience processing electronic documents Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail Experience working with confidential information Proficiency with MS Office applications Familiarity with and comfortable using technology Outstanding organizational skills and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills Background Investigation & Tax Check Requirements Applicants must pass a thorough background investigation prior to appointment. Applicant must also pass a Colorado state income tax check performed by the Colorado Department of Revenue and show that they have filed and do not owe any back taxes for the past three tax years.
