Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantA growing consumer products company with a global footprint is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This position will work closely with accounting leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, ERP system management, sales tax compliance, and ecommerce accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, experience in a product-based business environment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.Responsibilities:Lead and participate in month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsPerform bank reconciliations, prepaid expense reconciliations, and depreciation schedulesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisSupport tax compliance activities and sales tax filingsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policiesAssist with ERP system administration, enhancements, and process improvementsSupport internal and external auditsMonitor cash flow and assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activitiesAnalyze financial data and provide recommendations to managementReconcile transactions from ecommerce and payment platformsManage inventory accounting and inventory reconciliationsSupport online sales operations and related financial reportingAssist with multi-state sales tax compliance and reportingWork with third-party vendors, shipping providers, and payment processorsPrepare ecommerce-related financial analysis and reportingQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required4-6 years of accounting experience4-6 years of ERP system experienceStrong experience with month-end close and financial reportingExperience with general ledger accounting and reconciliationsKnowledge of sales tax compliance and reportingExperience supporting inventory accounting preferredNetSuite experience strongly preferredShopify and Avalara experience highly preferredMandarin language skills are a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work onsite in Brea, CABenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffSalary: $85,000 - $93,000 annuallyWork Schedule: Monday through FridayWork Location: Onsite, Brea, CA
