Senior AccountantSchedule:Monday – Friday7:00 AM – 4:00 PMJob Term:Temp-to-HireJob Duties:Assist with preparation of monthly financial reportsPrepare financial statements and summariesRecord general ledger entries for month-end closingProcess ICO accrualsReconcile all balance sheet accountsBill of materials (BOM) experienceManage payroll, AP/AR, and 1099 processingAssist with year-end inventory counts and related GL adjustmentsWork with operations to resolve inventory discrepanciesCreate wire transfersAssist clerical staff with ACH activitySupport the Controller with forecasts and budgetsReview general ledger accounts for accuracy and appropriatenessPrepare sales tax filings for billingAssist with business tax filings and tax researchEnsure fixed assets are properly recorded and depreciated according to service datesReview depreciation entriesPrepare journal entries (JEs) for multiple locationsManage and complete month-end closing proceduresJob Requirements:Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar roleStrong financial acumen and solid understanding of accounting principlesProficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and pivot tables3–5 years of accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
