Senior AccountantA well-established publicly traded real estate investment trust in Irvine is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team, reporting to a Director of Accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant ready to take on meaningful responsibility within a sophisticated public company environment. You will own the full cycle of financial reporting for a key segment of the portfolio, with direct exposure to SEC reporting, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.ResponsibilitiesOwn the month-end close process for an assigned portfolio, including journal entries and financial reportingPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements with a focus on identifying trends and variancesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of reported figuresSupport quarterly SEC filings and external reporting deliverablesMaintain documentation and controls in compliance with SOX requirementsPartner with auditors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and meet reporting deadlinesParticipate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredPublic company, real estate, or healthcare experience preferredExpert-level Excel skillsDetail-oriented with strong written and verbal communicationAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines consistentlyCompensation$105,000 to $120,000 base salary, plus generous cash incentive planHybrid schedule based out of the Irvine office
