Registered Behavior Technician - RBT/BT - Full-Time

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) – Full Time Location: Richmond, VA Compensation: Starting rate $24.60/hr for RBT, $22.25/hr for BT. Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education. Referral Bonus: $500 for each RBT referral, $5,000 for each BCBA referral. If you’re not yet certified, we support you through our ABA Academy of Excellence to prepare for and pass the RBT exam, required by the licensing board (BACB). What You’ll Do Direct Client Support Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues as needed Teach communication, social, and daily living skills Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision Track progress and maintain quality Collect, organize, and document session data accurately Collaborate closely with BCBAs, team members, and families Participate in team meetings and ongoing training Support Operations Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed Requirements Required High school diploma or GED 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles) Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review Preferred Experience in childcare, education, or related fields Experience working with children or adolescents Prior exposure to ABA services Position‑Specific Items Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40‑hour paid training program over two consecutive weeks (same pay rate), followed by precepting and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total). Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (up to 2 weeks total). Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
