Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology Cath Lab

The Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology Specialist provides professional care in the Invasive Cardiac, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Laboratories in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate evidence-based practice and perform care for the comfort and wellbeing of the patient. Perform and/or assist with treatments, therapies, and procedures (including scrub assistant, monitoring, and circulating) under the direction of the physician. Administer medication under the direct supervision of the physician, as appropriate. Document a current clinical picture and record designated information in the patient record. Convey relevant information to physicians and teammates. Calculate, interpret, and analyze data. Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and standards of care reflective of current practice and literature. Participation in committee and governance activities is highly recommended. Schedule Available shift options include: 10‑hour shifts, a combination of 4 weekdays (Monday to Friday), assumed to be 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. 12‑hour shifts, a combination of 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day, assumed to be 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. The primary need is for weekdays, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, four 10‑hour shifts. No weekend call is required. Qualifications Previous procedural experience or electrophysiology (EP) experience is essential.
