What We Offer Sign on Bonus: Up to $100,000; relocation bonus available As a CRNA at Novant Health’s Presbyterian Medical Center you’ll be trusted to deliver expert, independent anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures and patient needs. From routine surgeries to complex cases, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most. At Presbyterian Medical Center you will encounter a diverse case load in our inpatient operating rooms, including Neuro, Cardiovascular, Pediatrics, Vascular, and General Surgery, to name a few. We are a very dynamic and busy hospital. In addition to our 16 inpatient ORs, we also provide anesthesia services to 3 OB ORs, 4 Endoscopy suites, 3 Open Heart Rooms, and a wide variety of Out-of-OR Anesthesia including Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology and Cath Lab, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology, 12 more outpatient ORs specializing in peds endoscopy, dental, urology, and eye surgery as well as simple adult general outpatient procedures, eyes, and screening endoscopy. This role is ideal for experienced CRNAs or recent CRNA program graduates looking to work at the top of their profession within a high-performing, collaborative team. A dynamic full-time opportunity with exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties Work/life balance with “Call from Home” model depending on schedule and site 40 hr, full-time position Access to continuing education and leadership support Inclusive culture grounded in teamwork, trust, and shared purpose What You’ll Do Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatrics through geriatric populations Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges Float between sites based on staffing needs and patient volume What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Anesthesia Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA) RN and CRNA licensure in North Carolina (or compact state) BLS, ACLS, and PALS (per policy) Strong decision-making and clinical judgment Ability to adapt across different specialties and patient populations New grads welcome - orientation and preceptorship provided Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic plan of care suitable to patient age Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians Why Choose Novant Health?
