What You'll Do As our Assistant Director, you'll partner closely with the Center Director to help lead daily operations by: Supporting overall center operations and daily management Maintaining Colorado licensing compliance and ensuring all child and staff files are accurate and up to date Managing enrollment paperwork, medication documentation, and administrative records Coaching, mentoring, and supporting teachers to help them succeed Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff Helping maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging learning environment Supporting classroom ratios and stepping into classrooms as needed Assisting with scheduling, staffing, and daily operational needs Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and positivity What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Passionate about early childhood education Organized and detail-oriented A strong communicator with excellent leadership skills Calm under pressure and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities Positive, professional, and solutions-focused A team player who enjoys supporting others and leading by example Preferred Qualifications Meets Colorado Director or Large Center Director qualifications (or is qualified as an Early Childhood Teacher with leadership experience) Previous experience in childcare leadership or administration Strong understanding of Colorado childcare licensing regulations Experience with enrollment, compliance, and administrative systems CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Join The Learning Experience?
