Development Assistant (Hourly or Contract)

70 Faces Media is looking for an organized, driven individual to provide administrative support for our philanthropic fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this individual will work closely with the Development Coordinator by taking ownership of routine data entry, gift processing, and other administrative tasks as needed. This essential role ensures the development team can dedicate its efforts toward broader fundraising advancement.

Schedule: Average 3-5 hours/week, and potential for more at peak times, Monday - Friday ET

Location: Remote

Rate: $35/Hour

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record, reconcile, and track charitable donations across digital platforms, including importing data from the virtual mailroom and credit card systems into the donor database
• Link acknowledgment letters to major gift records and process receipts for grassroots donations to reinforce donor stewardship efforts
• Reconcile incoming payments with existing pledges in the donor database
• Download checks from the virtual mailroom into the organization's Google Drive and generate summarized data sheets for review
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with the development team, providing timely updates upon completion of assigned tasks and flagging any discrepancies or issues that arise during processing
• Assist with other database hygiene, querying, and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong data entry skills with scrupulous attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive financial and donor information with high confidentiality
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and digital communication skills
• Familiarity with systems like Google Drive, GoFundMePro/Classy or other donation platforms, Virtuous or other CRMs highly desired
